You are purchasing a Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) pre constructed beginner deck. You will receive a deck specific to the typing you have selected. GLC decks are used in the unique Gym leader Challenge format. This format doesn’t allow for multi prize Pokémon or rule box Pokémon to be used. Also apart from basic energy you are only allowed 1 of any card to make up your 60 card deck, However, you can use Pokémon Cards from any set that has existed. These decks are constructed using Official Pokémon TCG cards, However due to the nature of the decks and such old cards being used some cards aren’t in Near mint/pack fresh condition. But are acceptable for competitive play. for more information on the GLC format see the News & Events page.
With this product you may also receive a random pack of card sleeves and game dice (also legal for play) meaning you simply need to unpack sleeve up and you are ready to play. This is dependent on availability and promotions at the time of purchase.
